It’s difficult to say RIP” – Zubby Michael finally mourns Junior Pope

Actor Zubby Michael has finally spoken out about the death of his colleague Junior Pope. On Thursday, the 39-year-old shared a photo of Junior Pope on his Instagram page, noting that it is difficult to say goodbye. It is difficult to say RIP Nwanne,” he simply stated. Social media users slammed the actor for not publicly responding to Junior Pope's tragic death in a boat accident, along with four others. Junior Pope was confirmed dead on the night of April 10 after several attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. The actor, make-up artist Abigail Frederick, and the production team drowned in the Anam River while returning from the set of Another Side of Life, a film produced by Adanma Luke. While many of his colleagues, including Angela Okorie, Ebele Okaro, Ini Edo, Destiny Etiko, Chizzy Alichi, Prince Eke, Jerry Amilo, Patience Ozokwo, and Lizzy Gold, publicly condemned Junior Pope's death, Zubby Micheal opted to remain silent. Angela Okorie became angry by his silence and accused him of envy and selfishness on Instagram. However, in an Instagram post on Thursday, April 18, Zubby responded to those who questioned why he had not publicly mourned his colleague or uploaded a photo of the deceased, as others had done. He posted a video on his Instagram with the description, "Make una rest no be by posting."
